Attention West Coast Pro Gas Association Members
I hope everyone is
ready to get back out there and racing, because the 2008 Season is
here. WCPG will have races scheduled at Sacramento Raceway and
Infineon Raceway this year. The complete dates can be viewed at the
schedule page.
This season there have been some rule changes that could affect your
car. It is the racers responsibility to read and understand the new
and revised rules. If you are in doubt call Monti or Cloy to
confirm. Some track “NHRA” rules may also apply to Pro Gas. In
2008 the Blue Light will be activated during Qualifying and
eliminations “no deep staging”. Pro Gas D will use a .500 pro tree,
all other classes will stay with the .400 pro tree. WCPGA will
retain 15% of all entry fees; the balance will be paid back to the
racers along with sponsor payouts and or track payouts. Payout
details will be announced when finalized.
I would like to thank all the
fellow racers for participating in this weekend’s race. Welcome back
to all the returning members and we are glad to have the new
member’s that joined this weekend. There were a couple of speed
bumps, but overall the race went very well.
I would like to thank the following class sponsors for their support

To qualify for these awards, each award recipient must do the
following:
• Actually use ERC Racing Gasoline or ERC Racing Methanol
• Run 1 – 4”x8” ERC Racing Fuels logo sticker on each side of the
car
• When claiming any fuel award from ERC present a picture of the
racecar showing the ERC logo sticker affixed to the car. An actual

internet address where the car is shown.
ERC also agrees to give 16 gallons of ERC 110K Racing Gasoline or
ERC Racing Methanol to anyone who cuts a perfect .000 Reaction Time
